27.05.09: PLANE HERITAGE HELP FLY2HELP GO LOOPY!
3 days, 15 flights, 337 manoeuvres and £6000 for charity!
Plane Heritage was pleased to be able to assist Jason Phelan in his bid to raise £5000 for the fly2help charity by flying in as many aerobatic aircraft as possible over 3 days. Jason exceeded his target and the money raised will help lift the horizons of families facing trauma and tragedy.
The charity supports the terminally ill, chronically sick, bereaved and those who face exclusion from society on a regular basis as a result of mental ill-health, sickness, disability, injury or poverty. fly2help also encourages those with a thirst for an aerospace career, through flying scholarships and educational programmes run in partnership with schools and community groups.
